A news report said that Allen’s Seafood in Harpswell Maine had some rare colored lobsters. I made a quick road trip down the coast to see these unique lobsters. The owner let me interact with these colorful crustations while photographing them. One of the rarest of rare is the split colored orange and brown lobster. It occurs once in every 50 million according to the Lobster Institute at the University of Maine in Orono. Most lobsters are a dark blue-green or greenish brown before they are cooked. It is a privilege to share and educate others with photos of these rare colored amazing creatures.Excellent heavy card stock and fine quality printing
